Welcome to UppSeller.
UppSeller is a software platform operated by Liquidation Prime Inc. ("UppSeller", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") that helps e-commerce sellers identify, analyze and manage returned inventory, excess inventory and removal orders.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, access, use, process, store, disclose and protect information when you use our website, software platform, applications and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND AUTHENTICATION
Users may access UppSeller in one of the following ways:
- Creating an UppSeller account using an email address and password;
- Authenticating through supported third-party identity providers such as Google Login, Facebook Login, or Apple Sign-In;
- Connecting an Amazon Seller account or Walmart Seller account through official authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and API authorization workflows.
Creating an UppSeller account does not automatically grant access to Amazon or Walmart seller data. Access to third-party platform data requires separate authorization by the user.
UppSeller does not collect, store, or process Amazon, Walmart, Google, Facebook, or Apple account passwords.
2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE DIRECTLY
When you create an account, we may collect:
Required Information:
- First name;
- Last name;
- Email address.
Optional Information:
- Phone number;
- Company name;
- Business information;
- Other information voluntarily provided by the user.
We also collect account-related information including:
- Encrypted or hashed password;
- Account creation date;
- Login timestamps;
- Security and authentication metadata.
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and security practices and are never stored in plain text.
3. INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM THIRD-PARTY AUTHENTICATION PROVIDERS
When you choose to sign in using Google, Facebook, Apple Sign-In, or other supported identity providers, we may receive information including:
- Name;
- Email address;
- Unique account identifier;
- Profile information made available by the provider.
The information received depends on the permissions granted by the user and the provider's privacy settings.
4. INFORMATION WE ACCESS THROUGH AMAZON SP-API OR WALMART APIs
When authorized by the user, UppSeller may access certain data through Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) and Walmart APIs.
Such information may include:
- Returned inventory information;
- Customer return information;
- Excess inventory information;
- Overstock inventory information;
- Removal order information;
- Product identifiers, including SKU, ASIN and Item IDs;
- Inventory quantities and inventory status;
- Fulfillment-related information;
- Product listing information;
- Pricing information required for inventory evaluation;
- Inventory and operational metadata.
UppSeller accesses only the information reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
UppSeller does not access:
- Customer names;
- Customer addresses;
- Customer contact information;
- Payment card information;
- Bank account credentials;
- Amazon or Walmart passwords.
5. PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services;
- Create and manage user accounts;
- Analyze returned inventory and excess inventory;
- Generate liquidation recommendations and buyout offers;
- Support removal order workflows;
- Improve operational decision-making;
- Process subscriptions and payments;
- Provide customer support;
- Maintain security and prevent fraud;
- Improve and troubleshoot the Services;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We follow a data minimization principle and access only the information necessary to provide the Services.
We do not sell personal information and do not use data for advertising networks or consumer profiling.
6. ACTIONS PERFORMED ON YOUR BEHALF
With user authorization, UppSeller may perform limited actions related to inventory management, removal orders and liquidation workflows.
All actions are:
- Authorized by the user;
- Limited to granted permissions;
- Necessary to provide the requested Services.
Users remain responsible for managing permissions granted to UppSeller through Amazon, Walmart and other connected services.
7. PAYMENT PROCESSING
Subscription payments and other charges are processed by Stripe and other authorized payment service providers.
UppSeller does not store complete payment card information.
Payment information is processed directly by the payment provider in accordance with its privacy policy, security standards and applicable regulations.
8. FRAUD PREVENTION AND SECURITY
We may collect and process:
- Login activity;
- IP addresses;
- Device information;
- Browser information;
- Usage data;
- Authentication logs;
- Security-related metadata.
This information is used to:
- Detect and prevent fraud;
- Prevent unauthorized access;
- Investigate security incidents;
- Protect user accounts;
- Enforce our Terms of Service.
9. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the Services;
- Maintain account functionality;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Resolve disputes;
- Enforce agreements;
- Maintain security records.
Access to Amazon or Walmart data is terminated upon revocation of authorization.
Data may be deleted, anonymized or aggregated following account closure, subject to legal requirements.
10. DATA CONTROLLER AND DATA PROCESSOR ROLES
UppSeller acts as a Data Controller with respect to information collected directly from users.
UppSeller acts as a Data Processor with respect to Amazon and Walmart seller data processed on behalf of authorized users.
11. INFORMATION SHARING
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
We may share information with:
- Hosting providers;
- Cloud infrastructure providers;
- Analytics providers;
- Security providers;
- Payment processors;
- Professional advisors;
- Government authorities when legally required.
All service providers are required to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security protections.
12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Information may be processed and stored in Canada, the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers.
13. LEGAL COMPLIANCE
UppSeller complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws including:
- PIPEDA (Canada);
- GDPR, where applicable;
- CCPA and CPRA, where applicable;
- Applicable Amazon SP-API requirements;
- Applicable Walmart developer and data protection requirements.
14. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights regarding their personal information under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, as well as the right to limit certain processing activities.
The availability and scope of these rights may vary depending on the user's state of residence and applicable law.
UppSeller does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
